JBL new loudspeakers were presented for appreciation at the auditorium of Bashu Secondary School in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing.
The event was hosted by Advanced Communication Equipment (International) Company Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ACE), organized by Chongqing Haiyuan Weak System Engineering Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Chongqing Haiyuan), and supported by the intelligent engineering branch of Chongqing Construction Industry Association, Chongqing Association of Performing Arts, Chongqing Association of China Audio, Lighting, and Video Federation, and Chongqing Bashu Secondary School. Over 70 representatives from literary and artistic groups, design institutes, industry specialists across Chongqing were invited to appreciate the products.
The event was facilitated by General Manager of Chongqing Haiyuan Mr. ZHAO Xiaoyu, who talked about the history of the company in professional stage audio and lighting since March 1988. It’s one of ACE’s important partners in Chongqing. We hope to work together to obtain win-win results in the audio industry in the next few years!
Mr. LIU Tao from ACE Performing Arts Department shared with the participants the development and history of JBL VTX line array family products and the technical innovations and design details of the new-generation JBL VTX A8, and played several styles of music with the new product, whose effects earned recognition of the experts present there. JBL VTX A8 is a dual 8" passive line array loudspeaker, injecting fresh audio into the JBL family. It’s a product worth being proud of, be it in performance, or in practical applications.
Mr. LIU Xuepan from ACE Sales Department introduced the JBL VRX900 series line array loudspeakers by elaborating on their features that included Constant Curvature, range compensation, suspension, and easy installation as well as the specifically-designed sound stage coverage calculation software that can help rapidly provide correct sound stage effects through analogue calculation.
JBL VRX900 series products have extensive applications. Multiple different installations and suspensions of the VRX900 series were introduced at the event, with a particular focus on the 10+ cases of successful applications that had already been delivered by Chongqing Haiyuan, such as the Council for Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chongqing Armed Police Detachment Auditorium, Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Chongqing Jiulongpo District Government Auditorium, Chongqing Wudu Hotel Government Convention Center, Chongqing Nanchuan District Government Convention Center, Chongqing Wushan County Government Convention Center, Sichuan Yibin Nanxi Stadium, Chongqing No.18 Middle School (Tieshanping Campus) Auditorium, Chongqing Yucai High School Auditorium, Sichuan International Studies University Auditorium, and Lecture Hall of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, etc.
Ms. YUAN Xiaohang from ACE Performing Arts Department introduced the SOUNDCRAFT digital consoles, in particular the functions of its Vi3000. Vi×000 series consoles have added many features on top of the past Vi series, including the DANTE module, Mirror hot backup, monitoring wireless microphones of SHURE and other brands, and Vmix automatic mixing.
Chongqing Bashu Secondary School has always been a die-hard fan of JBL. Its auditorium, with a capacity of approximately 1,500 seats, was installed with the JBL SRX700 series loudspeakers 13 years ago which were upgraded to the VRX900 series constant curvature line arrays last year. So it’s fair to say that its auditorium has already been up to a very professional standard.
