The Formula E (hereinafter referred to as FE) Championship in the 2018-2019 season was held in Haitang District, Sanya, China, on March 23rd 2019. It’s the first time that such an event was held in Sanya, bringing back racing to the Chinese mainland since the Beijing street races in 2014 and 2015.
The fierce race and roaring of electrical machines got the audience of over 10,000 very high. The temperature in Haitang Bay that day exceeded 33 degrees centigrade, and the race was just like the scorching heat. Humidity and high temperature challenged the safety and stability of the sound reinforcement system. We used 56 JBL VT4888, 16 JBL VT4887A, 8 JBL VT4881, and 30 JBL SRX712M for the event, in conjunction with the CROWN IT-HD digital amplifier, which helped us finally accomplish the sound reinforcement task in multiple regions in an outstanding, safe and stable way.
The JBL VT series line arrays have served multiple important political and military events by enduring all sorts of tests brought by extreme weather conditions, including the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, the Shanghai World Expo, the military parade celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the victories of the War of the Chinese People's Resistance Against Japan, and the military parade commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.
The event was designed and developed by Hainan VisionVera Cultural Communication Co., Ltd and Beijing Chenxing Century Cultural Communication Co., Ltd which offered sound reinforcement system, with technical support and services delivered by ACE.
