Look into 2019-China’s Music Grand Ceremony, a grandiose music countdown gala, is the first important countdown event held since the founding of the China Media Group. It’s broadcast on CCTV-1, CCTV-3, and CCTV-15 on the evening of December 31st, 2018.
The event was composed of 4 parts, namely the Song of Joy, the Song of Harvest, the Advancing Melody, and the Voice of Spring, combining folk music with classical and popular music, really a feast for both the eyes and the ears. It’s aimed at highlighting the main theme and spreading positive energy and demonstrating China’s outstanding traditional cultures in contemporary times and its artistic achievements.
For the onsite sound reinforcement, 16 JBL VTX A12 line array loudspeakers were used, in conjunction with 8 JBL VTX S25 ultralow-frequency line array loudspeakers, 24 CROWN IT-HD series power amplifiers, the SOUNDCRAFT Vi6 as the main console, and 24-channel SHURE UR wireless system.
JBL VTX A12 line array loudspeaker is a dual 12” 3-fractional frequency passive loudspeaker. Improved performance and better usage experience can be achieved by adopting the D2 compression driving technology of the latest generation JBL loudspeakers, brand new unit design, faster installation and abundant components.
JBL VTX A12 delivers unmatched audio performance, high power density and accurate coverage. It is composed of the newly designed three 2-inch high pitch, four 5.5-inch medium pitch and two 12-inch low pitch. The max SPL can reach 146dB. Also, the brand new acoustic design can make it keep 90-degree coverage down to 250 Hz.
JBL VTX A12 is a complete tour sound solution for mid- to large-size touring applications and high-end fixed installations. Innovative installation and hoisting design simplified a lot the process and work for installation. The minimum angel between loudspeakers could be adjusted for 0.25 degree. Equipped with specialized line array transport cart, rapid setup and disassembly could be made. Various hanging brackets, extension bars and extension bar attachment brackets could be chosen for flexible deployment and setup.

Rapid installation and accurate debugging can be done to your loudspeaker through joint efforts by JBL VTX A12 and the newly released PERFORMANCE MANAGER software，LINE ARRAY CALCULATIOR3 design software and ARRAY LINK mobile phone APP. In addition, A12 have an IP55 level of protection for raining, thus you can realize all-weather application without any worry.
