As our economy has developed, squares, schools, conference systems, and chain hotels, etc. have risen one after another from the ground up everywhere. But with that comes growing requirements for public broadcasting and background music: not just sound, but optimal sonic effects. JBL introduced Control Contractor Series loudspeakers many years ago, and has still kept rolling out new models for the Chinese market by refining upon its products year by year. The JBL Control Contractor Series consists of three types.
1. Ceiling Speakers: Control 24C, Control 24CT, Control 24C Micro, Control 24CT Micro, Control 24CT Micro Plus, Control 26C, Control 26CT, Control 26CT-LS, Control 26DT, and two subwoofers Control 19CS and Control 19CST.
2. Surface-Mount Speakers: Control 23-1, Control 23-1L, Control 25-1, Control 25-1L, Control 25AV, Control 25AV-LS, Control 28-1, Control 28-1L, Control 29AV-1, Control 30, Control 31, and two subwoofers Control SB-2 and Control SB2210.
3. In-Wall Speakers: Control 126W, Control 126WT, Control 128W, and Control 128WT.
Today, we take the Control Contractor Series as an example, to see how they are applied on different occasions.
1: a meeting room of about 100m²

As for power amp, we can use CROWN XLS series to drive the speakers.

Of course, the ceiling speakers of this series can also be used for the occasion above.
2: a lecture theatre, a meeting room, or other places of about 150m²

Likewise, the surface-mount speakers, such as Control 25-1 or Control 28-1, can also be used for the occasion above.
3: a restaurant, a franchise store, or other places of about 200m²

4: hotels, museums, or other places with higher decoration requirements
Control 126W or Control 128W in-wall speakers can be used to ensure sound reinforcement and at the same time avoid affecting the overall decoration style. For example, an exhibition hall in a museum is 200m² in area, then 8 Control 126W in-wall speakers can be used to cover the whole area.

Apart from being 8 ohms, it’s also embedded in it a 70V/100V transformer, which makes it applicable to the line distribution system. In practical use, we can choose one that suits the live scene the best for sound reinforcement.
So as you can see, the Control Contractor Series has a complete range of models that can be flexibly used to meet the need of sound reinforcement for every occasion, be it a small and medium sized meeting room, a school classroom, a restaurant, or a franchise store. The JBL Control Contractor surface-mount speakers are certified waterproof, weather resistant, and applicable to outdoors, regardless of winds or rains.
