Consisting of 6 models, STX800 Series is the hit product of JBL point source loudspeaker. The small size, high SPL, and perfect audio quality have made JBL STX800 Series the product of choice for a 2000m² performing arts center of Hengda Venice Resorttre.
The project sits on the coast of the Yellow Sea and is composed of a performing arts center, a jazz bar, and a disco club. The center covers an area of over 2000m², which includes a stage with 15 meters wide and 12 meters high, and a 12-metre-long T-stage in front of the stage.
4 JBL STX828S Subs and 4 STX815M speakers are installed on both sides of the stage. 12 JBL STX815M speakers form a stage monitoring system, of which 2 are applied to the front of stage, 4 to both wings of the stage, another 4 to the back stage, and the remaining 2 suspended in front of the T-stage.
The stage monitoring system is composed of all JBL STX815M speakers. With a 131dB max SPL, the 15" two-way stage monitors can be either vertically, horizontally, pole mounted, or suspended overhead. The sound is evenly covered on the performing area with over 300 square meters in the center to produce the best effects for performances.
A big box is on the back of the theater flanked by 10 small boxes each having 2 JBL STX812M speakers. In the front of the big box are 4 JBL STX812M speakers suspended overhead.
The performing arts center uses Soundcraft Si3+ large format live digital console as its main audio control system, and the Soundcraft GB4-24 console as its redundant system. Soundcraft Si3+ has 80 mixing inputs, 64 mic inputs, 32 bus outputs, which is applicable to any big live events. It also uses the KLARKTEKNIK Square one audio dynamic processors and Square One splitter microphone signal distributors. And the microphones use SHURE BLXR wireless system.
All the power amps there are supplied by JBL's perfect partner, the CROWN series.
