Breakout box that enables conversion to XLR jacks in a way ideal for use by the broadcast, studio and PA market
BO-16DX / IN is an interface box that can transmit 16 analogue audio channels from 25-pin D-sub connectors to XLR (female) connectors.
In combination with a BO-16DX/OUT breakout box from the same series, you can use the BO-16DX/IN to convert from D-sub to easy-to-use XLR jack.

• 16 channels from 25-pin D-sub connector can be transferred to XLR (female) connector
• Space is provided above the connectors for placing labels, including signal routing
• The 25-pin D-sub connectors use TASCAM pin assignments that are compliant with AES59-2012
• Rackmount ears can be attached forward or backward allowing you to install the unit freely
• Rackmount ears can also be removed
• Compact 1U size with a depth of 45 mm
• Panel indications support upside-down installation

The unit can be mounted in a rack facing forward or backward by changing the direction that the rackmount ears are attached to it. The rackmount ears can also be removed when using the unit placed on a tabletop.

Panel indication supports installation upside down
Thanks to its compact size, including a depth of only 45 mm, this breakout box can even be mounted in the back of a rack case.
Mounting in the front of a rack case for use as a patch bay is also possible.
