1U size Dante converter with 16 channel analog line inputs/outputs.
Dante protocol is adopted. Supports building highly stable and flexible systems.
The ML-16D is a compact 1U converter, able to convert up to 16-channel analog line input and output signals into Dante signals. Dante interfaces support redundancy (primary/secondary). It has D-sub analog line input and output interfaces. It is equipped with D-sub 25-pin connectors as analog line input/output connectors.
Dante, a network audio protocol, enables building highly stable and flexible systems
Possible to transmit 16-channel analog line input/output signals
ML-16D is able to convert up to 16-channel analog line input and output signals into Dante signals.
Dante interfaces supporting redundancy (primary/secondary)
Primary and secondary connectors enable building a redundant system with a duplex network. Even when the main line, the primary network route fails, it automatically switches to the spare line, the secondary network route. It is possible to build a highly secure system which does not cause an interruption or noise at all at the time of switching the networks.
Flexible routing to connected Dante-compatible devices
ML-16D uses Dante Controller to configure the main unit and to connect to other Dante-compatible devices. Dante Controller enables flexible routing configuration to other Dante-compatible devices.
Possible to interconnect with AES67 and Ravenna systems
Dante supports AES67, which enables audio connection with systems using AES67 and AES67-compatible protocols (including Ravenna).
Equipped with a signal/overload indicator that enables level monitoring of analog input/output signals
The front panel is equipped with a signal/overload indicator that enables monitoring of analog input/output signals. The signal indicator turns on when a signal level becomes lower than -60dBFs.
5 selectable reference levels which can accommodate to a variety of scenes including professional usages, public addresses, and usages in broadcasting studios
It is possible to select a reference level setting from 5 maximum level options: +24dBu, +22dBu, +20dBu, and +18dBu (the standard level is +4dBu) and +15dBu (the standard level is +6dBu), which can accommodate to a variety of purposes including professional usages, usages in broadcasting studios, public addresses, and recording systems.
Breakout boxes that enable flexible choice of connectors according to purposes
ML-16D is equipped with D-sub 25-pin connectors as analog line input/output connectors, and combining with optional breakout boxes enables conversion to Euro Block and XLR.
Example of conversion using 2 Euro Block breakout boxes
Example of XLR connector conversion using 2 XLR IN breakout boxes and 2 XLR OUT breakout boxes
