Recently, they purchased from us two Soundcraft Si Performer digital mixing consoles (DMC), with two slots filled with AES cards and a ACE Link mirror controller.

ACE Link is a mirror controller developed by ACE (International) Co. Ltd. Which is designed for live performances, radio, and TV live broadcasts. Different from the usual backup methods, it can control two consoles to be fully linked and mirrored, which can realize system hot backup. Should any problems occur in a console, you just need to the switch key to have another console take over all the work seamlessly.
ACE Link is not just a mirroring controller, but a 4-channel mergency switcher with. It has two-input switchers, which can accept analog and digital (AES/EBU) signals. ACE Link can be used as an emergency switch for program output signals of main and redundant consoles or switch monitoring signals them.
As the Linux system is built in ACE Link, the main console sends information about the status of the console to the router after they are connected. Then the Linux system sends it to the redundant console after processing it. Finally, the redundant console finds the radio signals on UD sent from the main console, ensuring the fully synchronization of two consoles.
ACE Link connection is very simple. All you have to do is insert one network cable into the HiQnet socket of a console and another into LIN1or LIN2 sockets of ACE Link AB box.
