Designed to address the growing need for sound reinforcement systems in small and medium sized places, JBL developed the VRX900 Series line array loudspeakers. Leveraging the design technology and superb components from JBL’s well-noted VERTEC® Series large-scale line array loudspeakers with long throw and high performance, and produced in accordance with the global touring performance industry standard, the VRX900-Series is perfectly suited for use in small to medium sound reinforcement projects, as it has stunning power transmission capabilities and sound, as well as more compact and easy-to-mount design.
The JBL VRX900 Series includes: 8" VRX928LA, 12" VRX932LA-1, VRX915M used as stage monitor, 15" Subwoofer VRX915S, 18" Subwoofer VRX918S, and two powered models (VRX932LAP and VPX918SP), of which VRX928LA, VRX932LA-1, VRX915S, and VRX918S are available in white.
Features
• Constant Curvature
The VRX932LA waveguide mounts three high-frequency compression drivers on a continuous arc enabling them to work together acoustically as if they were a single driver, while dramatically increasing the power handling and acoustic output when compared to a single driver system.
• Broad Coverage pattern
Three mode of array configuration selector are designed on the back panel of the VRX900 constant curvature line array loudspeakers to control the high frequency output level of each loudspeaker in the loudspeaker line array. To help users better understand and place the VRX900 line array loudspeakers, JBL also developed a design software called VRX Array Calculator.
• Dual Voice Coil Differential Drive® Woofers
The VRX uses JBL’s dual voice coil differential drive® woofers with neodymium magnets, which greatly reduce the size and weight of the drivers. So JBL-designed VRX drivers weigh less, have greater power handling capabilities and higher SPL outputs compared with others.
Also, the VRX900P powered line array loudspeakers are available too, offering users unparalleled reliability, efficiency and usability. They have the same features as the VRX900 passive systems, such as high power, high SPL, accurate throw, easy installation, small size and light weight. The accurate proportion specially designed and set between power amplifiers and loudspeakers by JBL and CROWN enables the VRX900P powered series to have superb performances and assurances for use!
