The ACE Training Class I (hereinafter referred to as the ATC-I) that lasts 4 days will be jointly held by Advanced Communication Equipment (International) Company Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ACE) and the Audio Engineering Society (hereinafter referred to as AES) at Tsinghua University in Beijing this spring.
The reason why the ATC-I is nicknamed “ACE Private Home Cuisine” is that all the courses are completely customized based on customer needs and will be taught by ACE Technology & Production Director Ms. GUO Feng, Manager of ACE Project Execution Department Mr. YOU Jiabin, and Vice Chairman of AES (Asia-Pacific) & Chairman of AES (Beijing) Mr. WANG Shusen.
ACE Private Home Cuisine
With a focus on the audio basics and common misunderstandings, the training aims at teaching basic knowledge of audio to trainees and helping them better use and judge audio devices with hardware and software operations, which is in line with the AES International Audio Engineers Course System.

Ms. GUO Feng
ACE Technology & Production Director
After graduation from the School of Recording Arts of the Communication University of China in the audio engineering major in 2001, Ms. GUO worked in audio system design and debugging at the No.3 Institute of Ministry of Information Industry (also known as the No.3 Institute of CETC), and then went to work for ACE from 2013 till now. She is now a member of the Performing Arts Sound Reinforcement Commission of the China Association of Recording Engineers and a senior fellow with the AES.
She took part in the design, debugging, and support of audio systems for many large engineering projects and events both at home and abroad throughout her 16-year career, including the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, the Shanghai Stadium, the Shanghai Culture Square, the National Center for the Performing Arts, the opening ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo, the military parade on the National Day, the opening ceremony of the National Games, the G20 Summit Gala, and the BRICS summit, etc. all of which contributed to her extensive practical experience.
In recent years, Ms. GUO participated in the design and post-production of many cultural and tourism projects, including Encore Dunhuang, Encore Melaka, The Legend of Camel Bells, all scoring great results in terms of their audio design. At the same time, with the sound reinforcement market changing its focus, integration of audio, lighting, video, and stage arts as well as their innovations have gradually become the key to system design. With great expertise and innovation, she has won a lot of acclaim in audio integration and innovation.

Mr. YOU Jiabin
Manager of ACE Project Execution Department
Mr. YOU has been engaged in the audio industry for 14 years since his graduation as a postgraduate in recording arts, who has been involved in several dozens of domestic and international sound reinforcement system projects that include the sound reinforcement systems for the Shenzhen Concert Hall, the National Center for the Performing Arts，the military parade celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 2009, the opening ceremony and events of the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, and the military parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victories of the World Anti-Fascism War, as well as the audio systems design and implementation for the Chimelong Water Park, Encore Mount Wutai, Encore Dunhuang, and The Legend of Camel Bells.

Mr. WANG Shusen
Vice Chairman of AES (Asia-Pacific) & Chairman of AES (Beijing)
Mr. WANG is a senior engineer, world-noted audio technology expert, broadcasting advisor to the International Olympic Committee (hereinafter referred to as the IOC), and Vice Chairman of AES (Asia-Pacific) & Chairman of AES (Beijing). He was selected as a visiting scholar to Germany while working for China Radio International. After returning from Germany, he was in charge of stereo and multichannel technical upgrading. Later on, he went to Europe for further studies and obtained the internationally-certified qualification as an audio designer. He then worked as the system designer of Germany’s Siemens Group and its chief representative to China, bringing to the country the first digital audio workstation and automatic recording and broadcasting system. While serving as a senior broadcasting advisor to the IOC and the Chinese director of the broadcasting audio system of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics and the Guangzhou Asian Games, he developed and improved the audio engineering and commentary position broadcasting solutions and delivered 5.1 surround sound, for which the IOC praised and awarded him.
Mr. WANG now serves as the executive director of IECS (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd , engaging in international consulting. He’s also an adjunct professor, writing and examining articles for professional magazines, with academic works and professional training books published. He’s been taking an active part in international academic exchanges, and is a senior member with Germany’s VDT, helping open up channels for domestic audio industry to conduct international exchanges. In addition, he’s also a senior member with the AES, and was elected Vice Chairman of AES (Asia-Pacific) & Chairman of AES (Beijing) and a board member of AES, winning a special contribution award presented by AES.
Certificate Sample:
Anyone who passes the exam after the training will receive a certificate awarded by ACE and AES.
