In order to deepen the cultural self-confidence, the Sino-French Cultural Forum will be used as a platform to fully display the charm of the ancient capital Xi'an to the world. On September 18, 2018, the “Dragon and Horse Spirit” series of art and cultural activities will be held in the Daming Palace National Heritage Park.
The largest mechanical installation art in the world today - "Long Ma", designed by French artists, created by more than 100 French and Chinese artist engineers. This is the national spirit (never stop fighting, self-improvement, and forward-looking) that the Chinese nation has been advocating since the ancient times, and France used this as a special gift for the 50th anniversary Chinese-French diplomatic relations.
The dragon head and horse body of "Long Ma" is nearly 15 meters long and 5 meters wide. To ensure good sound quality, twelve JBL VRX 932LAP bi-amp active linear array speakers, two JBL VRX 918SP bass reflex active subwoofers, and 4-channel SHURE ULXD wireless system are used. The JBL VRX 932LAP speakers are distributed on the dragon head, tail and sides of the horse body. The SHURE ULXD transmits music signals to the entire sound reinforcement system. With a variety of devices such as built-in mechanical structure, electronic sensor control system, the "Long Ma" is flexible and vivid with singing, running, prancing, breathing steam functions and so on.
During the Mid-Autumn and National Day holiday, “Long Ma” will show visitors a unique sensory experience of technology, fashion and internationalization.
