Jointly produced by SMG Film and TV Center and Dragon TV, Shining in the East - 2018 TV Play Quality Ceremony was held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai, and broadcasted on Dragon TV at 19:30 on March 17th.
Many great TV plays in 2017 were praised on the Ceremony. In the nationwide satellite TV channels, SMG took the lead to appraise TV plays comprehensively, by inviting the professionals to give scores based on certain criteria: considering “Quality” as the core, to appraise from four aspects "Ideology, Professionalism, Creativity, Convergence".
In line with the idea of "Quality as the Core", all the sound reinforcement systems in this Ceremony were provided by ACE. After the precise measurement and calculation of audience and guest areas, we chose 24 JBL VTX V25II Line Array Full-range Speakers for the main P.A. system, 12 on each side of the stage. For side-fill, we deployed 8 JBL VT4888 DP-DA Active Line Array Full-range Speakers on each side of the stage – a total of 16 – to cover the guest and audience areas. And for the power amplifier system, we used the Crown flagship product ITHD Series Power Amplifiers.
For the sound reinforcement system, we used a Soundcraft Vi600 as the PA mixing console, and a Soundcraft Vi5000 as the backup. With 2 BSS London processors used in the system, these two mixing consolesers acted as main/redundant consoles each other to guarantee the seamlessly switch.
12 channels Shure Axtient, 24 channels Shure ULXD, and 10 channels Shure UHF-R Digital Wireless System were equipped for the hosts and performers.
In this annual event of Chinese TV Plays industry in spring, dozens of big shots gathered in Shanghai to share their laughter, tears and achievements, and harvest their “Quality Apple”.
