Run in New Era - 2018 Sports Carnival was sponsored by All-China Sports Federation, invited hundreds of Olympic and World Champions gathering joyously. It debuted on Dragon TV on February 17.
Themed as "Spring, New, Strong", the Gala highlighted its core spirit of sports with wonderful programs blending stage art with a variety of sports, to offer a sports culture feast with performances of sports competition, sports art performance, ethnic minority sports and young children physical exercise.
As an Arts Gala with variety forms of programs, it had to meet the requirements of the large-scale concert, and reach the level of sporting events broadcast. Audio System was built by Shanghai Weiyin Stage Art Engineering Co., Ltd., and Advanced Communication Equipment (International) Co., Ltd. provided system design and technical support.
For the sound reinforcement system, we used 12 JBL VTX V25II Line Array Full-range Speakers and 10 JBL VT4880 Line Array Subwoofers, divided into two sets hanging on both sides of the stage. 12 JBL VTX V20 Line Array Full-range Speakers were divided into two sets for side-fill, and 8 JBL STX 812M Speakers were placed on the stage for monitoring. And for the power amplifier system, we used the Crown flagship product ITHD Series Power Amplifiers.
For the sound reinforcement system, we used a Soundcraft Vi5000 as the PA mixer, and a Soundcraft Vi600 Digital Mixer as the broadcast mixer.
On the scene we used 6 channels Shure Axtient Digital - equipped KSM8 dual-diaphragm microphone for each handheld transmitter, 8 channels Shure ULXD, and 12 channels Shure QLXD Digital Wireless System for the hosts and performers.
