On February 4th, the New Year Season movie The Monkey King 3‘s World Premiere “Brave to Love” was held in National Indoor Stadium - China Giant Screen temporary cinema.
The Monkey King 3 is the third movie of Journey to the West series by Filmko Film, production and marketing costs over RMB 550 million. Directed by Pou-Soi Cheang, and starred by Aaron Kwok, William Feng, Zhao Liying, Xiao Shenyang, the movie was really a huge investment. The release date is scheduled on Lunar New Year’s Day (February 16th, 2018).
The “Girl Kingdom” story, come from the Journey to the West, was adapted and improved properly for the movie. Furthermore, it took two years painstaking efforts of teams behind the scenes for the production of the movie.
It was the first time the studio cooperated deeply with the world leading screen brand China Film Giant Screen who provided all projection facilities and built a super standard temporary cinema in the National Indoor Stadium. The custom-made giant screen weights 1.3 tons, as high as a 5-floor building, and its brightness is 8 times of ordinary screens.
ACE technical team provided movie audio technology support and guarantee for the Premiere
To match the great visual effect of this ultra-giant screen, ACE technical team customized a hyper realistic surround sound system for it. We used 30-the latest and higher standard JBL VTX A12 line array speakers for main channel,plus 12 S28 subwoofers and 6 G28 subwoofers as low frequency rendering. As for peripheral equipment, we deployed 30 Crown IT9000HDs to drive JBL VTX A12, 9 Crown IT12000HDs to drive JBL VTX S28 and JBL VTX G28. Soundcraft Vi6 digital mixer were used onsite to switch, modify, fine-tune and switch between the two redundancy system. And 2 DOLBY CP570 processors were set as active and standby. We also assigned staff to attend the lines and device nodes to ensure no failures occur in the system.
Beijing AoTian International Culture Media Co. Ltd. undertook the sound system project of the Premiere, and ACE provided on-site technical support and guarantee for China Film Giant Screen.
