Recently, 2017 China-Arab States Expo opened in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. With the theme of "Pragmatism, Innovation, Linkage, Win-win", this Expo focused on commodity trade, service trade, technical cooperation, investment cooperation and tourism cooperation, to hold a series of conferences, forums, exhibitions and negotiations.
The Vice chairman of 12th NPC Standing Committee Zhang Ping represented Chinese government to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. In his speech, Zhang stated, Arab countries are important players and co-founders of the Belt and Road Initiative. In the "Belt and Road" framework, deepening China-Arab States cooperation and adapting to our times trend and the development law, are in line with the common interests of both peoples and promising. The China-Arab States strategic cooperative relationship has become a successful model for developing countries to meet, understand and develop together.
The sound reinforcement equipment and technical services on the scene of the opening ceremony are all provided by the Shanghai Weiyin Stage Company. 8 JBL VTX V20 and 4 JBL VT4880 were divided into two groups and placed on both sides of the rostrum for main PA; 2 more JBL VTX F15 on each side for fill, 2 JBL STX812m for stage monitoring, and 4 JBL VRX932 for rear area fill.
To ensure the safety and stability of the PA control system, 2 Soundcraft Vi600 Digital Mixers were used to work with BSS London Processing System. PA system still uses Crown ITHD series. A 2-channel Shure ULXD was used as the host microphone, and a 2-channel Shure ULXD clip microphone was deployed as backup of the gooseneck microphones.
After the opening ceremony, the Vice-Chairman of the Expo highly praised the sound reinforcement system. He said the sounds from JBL speakers are clear and soft, they are the best sounds in all the past Expos!
