The Concert Hall of College of Ethnic Arts of Inner Mongolia Normal University is located in the national level Huhhot Shengle Economic Zone. The concert hall is mainly used for music performance, also undertakes artistic performance, academic reports and other activities, providing a first-class stage for promoting Mongolian culture and art heritage.
Most performances in this Concert Hall are Symphony, chamber music and folk music concerts. The ceiling of auditorium is up to 10.4 meters in height, and 19.29 meters in average width. There is a balcony at the rear area of auditorium. The area of stage is 234m2 with 20.8m width and 14m depth and 6.63-8.89m height. Total volume of the Hall is 2670m3 to accommodate 500 seats.
The acoustics design of the Concert Hall was completed by Da Fu Decoration Design Company under the guidance of experts of the Radio Film & Television Design & Research Institute. Tianjin Zhongfa Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. was the general contractor, and Inner Mongolia Hongyu Jiasheng Digital Technology Company was responsible for the design and construction of sound reinforcement system, lighting system and stage machinery.
JBL system speakers from the United States were used for the sound reinforcement system. 4 AE5215/64 fixed installation speakers were placed for the central channel, 2 AC2215/95 fixed installation speakers for pulling sound image, 2 STX818S speakers for subwoofer, and 4 STX812m monitor speaker for the stage. Other equipment include Soundcraft Vi1 Digital Mixer from the United Kingdom for the main console, Crown Series from the United States for power amplifier, Shure instrument playing microphone and QLXD wireless microphone from the United States, and Tascam SS-R200 Solid-State drive recorder from Japan.
Started in May 2016, the Concert Hall of College of Ethnic Arts of Inner Mongolia Normal University has been completed and accepted in July 2017 thanks to multi-party efforts. It got a lot of praises from the school and the general contractor!
