On May 13-14, 2017, Chenshan Grassland Broadcast Music Festival was meeting with Shanghai citizens who love music and nature in Chenshan Botanical Garden again. In two days, four concerts with different forms were performed on different stages.
Two days performances were themed as "Russian Voice" and "Moscow Nights" respectively. St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra and the chorus took turns on the stage, leading the audience to enjoy the colorful Russian style and relive the classic melody in memory.
JBL Speakers were used as the main PA system in previous music festivals and has been highly recognized. Radio and Television Shanghai Broadcast Technical Department who in charge of equipment supplying and production of this Festival, decided to also use JBL sound reinforcement system for this outdoor symphony festival.
The main sound reinforcement system of the music festival used 24 JBL VTX V25 full-size three-frequency high-directional Line Array Speakers, with JBL classic VT4880 and VT4888DP Line Array Speakers for subwoofer and front-fill. JBL VTX V25II equipped with two 2000W 15-inch differential Drive woofers mounted on the cast aluminum baffle, four 8-inch differential drive midrange units, and three new D2 Dualdyne and Dual voice coil compression drives mounted on third-generation waveguide and patented RBI (Radiation Boundary Integrator) Components.
Live PA system used Soundcraft Vi600 and Vi400 Digital Mixers to form a mirroring standby system. All amplifiers used Crown's flagship ITHD series Digital Amplifiers. With BSS London Processor, the high-quality mixing and security of performances were guaranteed. And the lead singers used Shure Axient wireless systems.
On the second night of their performance, a special audience appeared on the scene. He come to watch the performance not as the Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, but just as an ordinary symphonic music enthusiast. He was very approachable and friendly, and shook hands with the audience who recognized him during the performance.
This year's Music Festival was more interactive. The outdoor stage in a natural and open environment allowed actors and audience coming into close contact and getting a lot of echoes.
