Not long after introducing the SRX800 powered series, JBL as a brand of HARMAN brought onto the market its passive series. It’s a super cost-effective product. Stunning sound performance, stable and efficient power handling and premium enclosures allow it to suitable enough for all sorts of sound reinforcement applications.
The Series is comprised of 5 models, including 3 full range models (SRX812, SRX815 and SRX835) and 2 subwoofer models (SRX818S and SRX828S).
The SRX812/SRX815 are designed to suit various applications, including for FOH (Front Of House), MON (Stage Monitor), and Rearfil/Sidefill. When used in conjunction with other SRX800 Series full range or subwoofer models, they can bring out their full performances.
The SRX812/SRX815 high frequencies are handled by an annular polymer diaphragm compression driver that features a best in class 3’’ voice coil coupled to a 1.5’’ throat opening. Using a neodymium magnet, the compression driver is lightweight, efficient, and extremely powerful. This delivers very high power levels with reduced distortion and increased phase coherence resulting in smooth, crystal clear high frequencies. For low frequencies, the SRX812 (SRX815) uses a 12-inch (15-inch) woofer with JBL’s patented Differential Drive Technology for reduced weight while maximizing power amp efficiency which can rise up to 3200W.
The SRX818S/SRX828S adopts an 18-inch woofer with JBL’s patented Differential Drive Technology for reduced weight while maximizing power amp efficiency. 3’’ voice coils and dual ferrite drivers deliver exceptionally low distortion and extended low frequency response.

Suitable to installed applications for small touring performances or in places of around 200m², such as meeting rooms, multi-function halls, or pubs.

The SRX835 is the 15’’ three-way full range passive loudspeaker, specially designed for middle sized FOH or sound fill. With M10 suspension points, standard 35mm pole cup and a floor mat, it can be either ground installed or stacked on top of subwoofers. It’s the ideal solution for musicians, bands, DJ, concerts, and presentations, as well as installed applications in performing areas, educational facilities and churches, etc.

Suitable to installed applications in multi-function halls, theaters, banquet halls, or other places of around 500m²
