On September 20, 2016, the Hangzhou G20 Summit Summary and Commendation Conference was held in the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People. This was the first use of the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People after upgrading.
Almost all important meetings of Zhejiang Province are held in the Hall as it is the venue for the highest-level meetings in the province. The sound reinforcement system now has higher requirements due to technical development and upgrading of products. First, the whole system requires good sound quality and clarity. Second, every link of the sound reinforcement system needs to have automatic hot backup function. Finally, all equipment must have good compatibility and scalability.
The latest complete top-level Harman equipment and Shure wireless digital system are used for upgrading. ACE provided system design and technical supports. The main speaker is a JBL AE series fixed mounting system, in which the AM7200 64/95 are fixed in the left, center and right, and the AM5200 64/95 is fixed at the front area to reduce the sound and for sound fill. The new AE loudspeaker with its new design and technology produces ultra-fine sound, good directivity and excellent Q-value factors for comprehensive use and classical music performances. Together with the Crown IT-4x3500HD digital network amplifier, the system may simultaneously receive digital and analog audio signals, automatically determine and switch between them.
The whole system uses multiple BSS Soundweb London BLU0-160 audio processors. In it, the processing of digital signals and analog signals is completely independent, but the audio signals can be mutually routed through the BLU-LINK audio bus to complete dual backup. The main mixer in the sound control room is a Soundcraft Vi3000 digital sound mixer. After the spreading of MADI signals, the Stagebox is connected to a fiber interface of the stage. The Vi3000 mixer and Shure ULX-D4D wireless digital microphone use a Dante for signal transmission. The ULX-D4D wireless microphone transmits digital signals to the Vi3000 via the Dante network, and distributes the analog signals to the backup analog sound mixer for hot backup. The entire monitoring system is built by using Harman's HiQNet network, allowing the operator to monitor and manage the entire sound reinforcement system in the sound control room.
The original system was upgraded into a mobile sound reinforcement backup system. BSS Soudweb London with its flexible signal routing function enables perfect combination of the mobile system with the new system and this allows it to be used independently or as a hot standby system.
