On April 26-27, 2016, China Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers Audio Professional Committee Film and Television Recording Application Technology Exchange Seminar and the 2015 "Audio Production Excellent Works Award" Awards Ceremony were held in the Qingshan International Conference Center in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
As the final awarding ceremony of the film and audio industry's annual "Audio Production Excellent Works Award", it is a grand event for the audio production practitioners in the film and television industry, as well as a summary of the development of film and television sounds in 2015.
At the meeting, ACE made two keynote speeches titled "On-site Application and Outdoor Audition of JBL VTX Series Array Loudspeakers" and "Introduction to JBL Monitor Series Loudspeakers". A Dolby panoramic sound (Dolby Atmos) cinema system was built by using JBL LSR7 series monitor loudspeakers, and the JBL VTX line array loudspeaker system was built for the guests to audition and exchange thoughts.
The exchange activities were very successful. The guests expressed great enthusiasm for the panoramic sound cinema system, line array loudspeakers and digital consoles, as well as thought it necessary for the Audio Professional Committee of SCMPTE to organize such academic activities. The Audio Professional Committee has achieved great success and hopes that it will continue to guide film and television sound workers towards the new goal.
