The “Top Chinese Music” is the only all Chinese-language music program in mainland China. It is broadcast daily on more than 100 TV stations nationwide. It has been well received by listeners and musicians since its launch, and is at the frontier position for the promotion of Chinese songs.
The “Top Chinese Music” Annual Festival, regarded as an icon of the music circle and awards of the greatest honor, has come to its 16th year since its launch.
For this event, all the stage, audio, lighting and video equipment were supplied and designed by Shanghai Feilin Stage Art Engineering Co., Ltd
The sound reinforcement system consisted of twenty-eight JBL VT4889 as the main PA speakers, sixteen JBL VTX V20 for side sound fill, four JBL VTX-V20 for central sound fill, and sixteen JBL VT4880 subwoofers. In the stage, twelve STX812Ms were used for feedback. The whole set of the power amplifier system was from the Crown ITHD series. For sound pickup, a 30-channel SHURE UHF-R wireless system was used.
The whole stage was presented in a 360° panoramic live broadcast manner combined with the virtual reality technology. Using the VR plus AR technology allowed accurate real-time integration of the reality and virtual images, providing audience with completely different audition experience that ever had in China.
