On November 21, 2015, the first episode of the "China Star" program was aired on Dragon TV. It is a large-scale international singing competition program jointly produced by Canxing Media and Dragon TV. The program has a luxurious lineup. In addition to three master-level referees, all the contestants are popular singers. The live band and audio production are also domestic first-class.
The sound reinforcement system for the program consisted of the JBL’s latest VTX line array speakers. It was designed based on the environmental conditions of the Dragon TV Studio and the needs for quality sound for a music program. Each side of the stage was provided with eleven JBL VTX V20 dual 10-inch line array speakers supplemented by S25 dual 15-inch subwoofers of the same series. Each side was provided with six S25 speakers in a heart-shaped design. The rear stage was provided with two VRX932La speakers, the JBL’s classic model, for sound fill, supplemented by Crown Flagship ITHD series amplifiers. All the speakers were suspended to facilitate producing surging and shocking effects. The sound reinforcement equipment was supplied and installed by the Broadcasting Technology Department of Shanghai Media Group and ACE provided the whole-course commissioning services and technical supports.
The program was well received after its debut for high level singing skills and the powerful and shocking audio-visual experience delivered by it!
