MANTECA Christian Church recently purchased the Soundcraft Vi6 digital console to better serve the worship with more than 2,000 persons at the same time. The previous equipment of the Church was a analog system. When the system was upgraded, the design requirements of the new console were very strict. After being compared and tested in various aspects by sound engineer Bill Clark, and with the help of San Francisco's Novo Group and art consultant Yeap, it is determined that the Soundcraft Vi6 fully meets the requirements of “achieving advanced sound reinforcement systems through digital technology”.
The Christian Church also plans to form a theatre and music production company based on the existing platform. Given that the new digital console shall meet the needs of both artists and actors for live performances, the Soundcraft Vi6 is fully qualified. As one of the first users of the Soundcraft digital console, Clark loves the brand very much and appreciates the capacity of the VI series console channel in consideration of its various functions and affordable cost.
Clark said: "We want to do a lot of things with the new console, no matter for touring or fixed installation, the Vi6 we use now has a lot of advantages. In terms of ability, despite a large worship team - eight singers, full-size, full-range speakers, and 18-channel wireless handheld and wireless belt-pack microphones, our Vi6 has never reached the limitit. All performance materials can be transmitted to a PC through the router. The intuitive design of the console can make it easier for usage by more volunteers. I used to use it for 16 hours without stopping, and along with the digital signal path, wonderful compressors and effectors, I can hear more clearly. Frankly, it all sounds amazing!”
