Harman announces the launch of a new generation of Soundcraft Vi3000 digital live console with advanced features. The groundbreaking Soundcraft® SpiderCore DSP, features a processing capacity of up to 96 channels, with high compatibility.
The SoundcraftVi3000 is based on the new internal DSP SpiderCore processing of the StuderVista 1 engine. The Soundcraft Vi4.8 operating software also adds a fourth 24-channel fader layer to increase the console input channel to 96 loops. The interface operation and layout are similar to its Vi-Series console, and it also offers expanded functionality. The Vi3000 features an upgraded mic preamp and 40bit floating point DSP processing to deliver high quality sound.
The Soundcraft Vi3000 has a brand-new look, with a more efficient design control interface, 36 faders, 24 mono/stereo buses and 4 Vistonics IITM 3D graphics touch screens. Because there are 4 touch screens, the Vi3000 is the only console that allows two engineers to operate in the same layer at the same time.
The Soundcraft Vi3000 offers a wide range of rear panel connections. In addition to analog and digital input / output configurations, it also provides MIDI, USB, Ethernet, DVI output, DANTE/MADI audio production, redundant power supplies and more. The Vi3000 can be equipped with a MADI stage interface card that connects multiple Soundcraft stage interface boxes for input expansion. The Vi3000 also accommodates the new Soundcraft Realtime Rad2 plug-in. The Vi3000 is the first in the Soundcraft family to feature a DANTE-enabled console that can be networked with digital audio and DANTE devices.
