“All the Way with You – Beijing Traffic Radio 20th Anniversary Gala” was launched at the Beijing Master Card Center on December 20, 2013. All the staff, together with some die-hard fans, jointly celebrated this gala.
The PA system for this event consisted of equipment all from the Harman. The line array speakers were used, some of which suspended and the other put on the ground. Those suspended were divided into four groups, each of which fourteen JBL VT4889 speakers to cover the auditoriums on the three sides. Those put on the ground were divided into four groups, each of which two JBL VT4887 speakers for on stage sound fill. Each of the two sides had twelve JBL VT4880 subwoofers arranged in a heart shape. The JBL’s special speaker angle calculation software was employed to ensure accurate coverage. Another highlight of the PA system was the Crown IT-HD series amplifiers. The powerful DSP processor in them allowed easy adjustment of the time delay and balance, improving the flexibility of the system. Since the celebration was broadcast live, two Soundcraft Vi6 digital mixers were used for main sound reinforcement, each of which was used as a standby for the other, and two SOUNDCRAFTVi1 digital mixers for live broadcasting, each of which was used as a standby of the other. The SOUNDCRAFT Vi series mixers may easily meet the needs for all kinds of performances due to their humanized design, high quality sound and stable performances.
